It was a busy week back in Idaho's Second District! I had the opportunity to participate as the named lecturer in policy in the Idaho National Laboratory's Director's Distinguished Lecture Series in Science, Technology, and Policy. It was great chatting with INL employees and answering questions.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to support our young artists for the 2024 Congressional Art Competition Awards in Idaho Falls this week! Congratulations to 1st Place Winner - McKay Shurtliff, a student at Shelley High School, 2nd Place - Callao Rose Carter, a student at Malad High School, and 3rd Place - Claire Hunter, a student at Snake River High School.

I was honored to participate as the named lecturer in policy in INL's Director's Distinguished Lecture Series.

It was a pleasure chatting with INL employees about how the appropriations process shapes federal spending priorities and discussing my fondest memories of working with INL over the last two decades.

2024 Congressional Art Competition

Congratulations to McKay Shurtliff - winner of the 2024 Congressional Art Competition! McKay is a student at Shelley High School, and his art will be on display this year in the U.S. Capitol.
