It was a busy week back here in DC! This week, the House passed several important pieces of legislation and resolutions, such as condemning Iran's unprecedented drone and missile attack on Israel. I proudly voted YES on this resolution. You can find out more below.
In addition to this week's critical legislation, I led two budget hearings for the Department of the Interior and the United States Forest Service. As Chairman of the Interior and Environment Subcommittee, which oversees funding for these agencies, I remain committed to reducing unnecessary federal spending while prioritizing the critical needs and essential functions within the agencies of this subcommittee.
This week, I had a great meeting with the Idaho Cattle Association. I proudly support Idaho's cattle industry and am proud to work with them in Congress. Learn more about this meeting in Simpson's Ag Corner below.
