Last week, House Republicans passed the Fiscal Year 2024 Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies bill. This bill fully funds veterans’ health care programs and benefits, supports national security, and exceeds the Department of Defense’s Military Construction budget request. 


The Congressional App Challenge is officially open! This challenge is open to all middle and high school students who reside or attend school in Idaho's Second Congressional District. More information is below.

House Republicans Fully Fund the VA
 

Last week's vote marks clear that House Republicans stand with our veterans. This bill honors our commitment to our nation’s heroes by fully funding veterans’ health care programs, benefits, and all other veterans’ related programs.


I will always stand up for America’s veterans and ensure they have the benefits they’ve earned through their service and sacrifice to our country, and this legislation reaffirms that commitment.


The measure was approved with a vote of 219 to 211, with every House Democrat voting no.
