Kathy and I hope you and your loved ones had a very Happy Thanksgiving. Importantly, we are grateful for the men and women courageously serving in our military who had to miss Thanksgiving with their families.

For years, the sheep industry has dealt with unfair advantages and foreign competitors. I am proud to sign on to a bipartisan letter to United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai urging the International Trade Commission to launch a safeguard investigation into whether foreign sheep and mutton imports are presenting serious harm to the domestic lamb industry.

The influx of sheep from foreign markets has seriously impacted Idaho's sheep industry and agriculture producers. The U.S. must prioritize the protection of our domestic producers before it's too late.
