Dear [salutation],

It has been a busy month here in DC! To recap, this month, the House passed critical legislation to protect America's small businesses, combat illegal fentanyl, and fully fund veterans' health care and benefits, to name a few. As June comes to a close, I'd like to highlight a recent resolution that I cosponsored to designate June as National Dairy Month - you can learn more about this below!

I have long maintained that border security is national security, and supporting the Fiscal Year 2026 Homeland Security Appropriations Bill this week reaffirms that commitment. This bill invests in border security and public safety, and supports the Trump administration's policy initiatives.

FFA students are the future of America's agriculture, and after meeting with the American Falls FFA Chapter here in DC earlier this week, I am confident that the future is in great hands.

Designating June as National Dairy Month

Designating June as National Dairy Month recognizes the substantial economic impact and honors those who work tirelessly to keep our fridges stocked and bring nutritious dairy products to kitchen tables across the nation.

It is an honor to represent one of the most productive dairy districts in the country, and I will continue advocating for Idaho's hardworking farmers who produce milk, cheese, and other nourishing dairy products. You can learn more about this resolution here.

Boosting National Security and Border Protections

Under President Trump’s leadership, we have the most secure border in American history. Now is the time to strengthen our border protections and provide our brave Border Patrol agents with the resources they need to keep our homeland safe.

As a member of the House Appropriations Committee, I was proud to support the advancement of the FY26 Homeland Security Appropriations Bill. You can read more about this advancement here.

Meeting with the American Falls FFA Chapter

I always appreciate meeting Idaho students here in DC.

As a representative of one of the most productive agricultural districts in the nation, I am proud to fight for American agriculture in Washington. Idaho agriculture has always been and will remain a top priority as I work in Congress.
