Floor Schedule | Committee Activity The Simpson StandardJune 1st, 2025 Dear [salutation], Happy June 1st! From Idaho Falls to Boise to Stanley, it was a great week spent here in Idaho's Second District. I appreciated the opportunity to meet with constituents across the district and hear about issues Idahoans face on the ground.  Meeting with Idahoans—whether in DC or the district—is one of my top priorities. I was grateful for the opportunity to sit down with Idahoans like Fire Chief Mark Niemeyer, Stanley Forest Range Nelson Mills, College of Eastern Idaho President Dr. Lori Barber, some of St. Luke's incredible doctors, and many more this week. Thank you for all you do for the Gem State! I was also thrilled to attend two ribbon cuttings in Boise this week. One was for DZYNE Technologies, a leading innovator in the aerospace and AI industry, and the other was for Idaho Scientific's newest Falcon Building. This is a really exciting time for our great state!

June 1st, 2025

Dear [salutation],

Happy June 1st!

Thank You, Idaho Firefighters!

I appreciated the opportunity to meet with Mark Niemeyer, the Fire Chief of the Boise Fire Department, earlier this week. As the leader of the largest fire department in Idaho, Chief Niemeyer has worked tirelessly to lead a team that always runs to help those in need.

We owe a debt of gratitude to firefighters in Idaho and across the country for all they do to protect our communities 24/7.

Project Pinecone Celebration in Stanley

I was honored to present the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution Conservation Medal to Ranger Nelson Mills for his outstanding work preserving Idaho's Forests.

Nelson has demonstrated unwavering dedication over the years—whether serving our country in uniform to tirelessly working to keep our beloved Idaho treasures safe or preserving our beautiful forests for future generations. Thank you, Nelson!

Idaho Scientific Ribbon Cutting in Boise

I was honored to attend Idaho Scientific's Falcon Building ribbon cutting. I believe cybersecurity is national security, and I've been proud to support efforts that ensure we are not dropping the ball or allowing our weapons systems and critical infrastructure to be vulnerable to exploitation.

Congratulations to Idaho Scientific!
