The Lava Ridge Wind Project has no place in Idaho. The people of the Magic Valley have been loud and clear. This week's Final Record of Decision announcement was yet another slap in the face to Idahoans. Make no mistake, I remain committed to working with the Trump administration on day one to disregard this out of touch project.

In other Idaho news, I wanted to wish a big congratulations to Malad High School students for being selected to decorate the Idaho Christmas tree in DC this year!

As the 119th Congress quickly approaches, House Republicans and the House Appropriations Committee are ready to implement the mandate of the American people and chart a fiscally responsible path forward - just as we did in our Fiscal Year 2025 bills. Lava Ridge Wind Project Record of Decision

From the beginning, I have made it abundantly clear that the Lava Ridge Wind Project is completely out of touch with the values and needs of our state. Despite having near-unanimous opposition in Idaho, the Biden Administration and the Bureau of Land Management have continued to ignore Idahoans concerns.

I remain committed to standing with the people of Idaho and working with the Trump administration on day one to disregard this project. You can read my full statement here and below.

Congratulations to Malad High School!

This week, the 102nd National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony occurred here in DC. One of the dozens of trees surrounding the National Christmas Tree is the Idaho Christmas tree.

Our state's tree will be displayed near the National Christmas tree throughout December, so if you're visiting from Idaho, be sure to swing by and see the ornaments made by Malad High School students!
