Dear [salutation],
As Congress gets ready to head back to DC next week and vote on important legislation, I wanted to highlight a few meetings I had in Idaho's Second District over the last few weeks. From meeting with constituents throughout the district to touring community organizations, I am grateful to all the hardworking Idahoans who share their stories with me. As your proud Congressman, I'll continue to work for policies in the best interest of Idahoans and make DC work like Idaho!
This week, I had the opportunity to attend the groundbreaking of the new Fort Hall Fire Station, a Community Funding Project for which I proudly secured funding in FY22. Also, this week, I attended the ribbon cutting for the Idaho National Laboratory's Sample Preparation Laboratory (SPL), a facility I have been proud to support and bring awareness to in Congress.
It was an incredible honor to tour Gowen Field alongside Idaho’s Adjutant General, Maj. Gen. Donnellan and fellow Guardsmen last week. We visited the nearly completed Idaho Air National Guard Medical Training Facility, another Community Funding Project for which I proudly secured funding in FY22. I am proud of the standard set by our National Guard, and I hope this new medical training facility will help them achieve even greater success.
