Dear [salutation],
It was a great week in Idaho's Second District! I was honored to attend the groundbreaking of Chobani’s expansion to their Twin Falls plant and tour Idaho State University with President Wagner. It was an incredible week in the district, and a privilege to connect with many Idahoans. I take my responsibility to the people of Idaho very seriously, actively listen to their concerns, and take their input back to DC.
Like many Americans, I am optimistic about the direction our country is headed, and I am confident that America is on the right track. This week, I wrote an op-ed highlighting how America is once again leading with strength under President Trump's leadership. I am particularly proud that President Trump signed a measure that permanently increased pay for our wildland firefighters, which you can learn more about below.
Congress passed, and President Trump signed the Full-Year Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act. This bill kept our government OPEN and included a permanent pay fix for our brave wildland firefighters—a provision I was proud to fight for.
