It has been a busy couple of weeks in Idaho's Second District! I was deeply honored to receive the Friend of Farm Bureau award from the Idaho Farm Bureau this week. I am proud to support Idaho's agriculture industry and farmers every day in Congress.

For 100 years, Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve has inspired wonder in visitors worldwide. I recently had the opportunity to celebrate its centennial with the fantastic staff who play a pivotal role in keeping our parks and landscapes beautiful.

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection border encounter report for September 2024 once again proves that with President Biden and Border Czar Kamala Harris’ open-border policies, danger is present both inside and outside our southern border. The American people deserve better than the Biden-Harris administration's failed open-border policies. House Republicans understand that border security is national security!

Throughout my time in Congress, I have been proud to fight for Idaho agriculture. I will always work to ensure that the voices of Idaho's farmers, ranchers, and producers are heard in DC!

Border Security IS National Security

Per the September report, there were 101,790 illegal immigrant additional crossings at our southern border. Since President Biden and VP Kamala Harris took office, there have been over 10.8 million illegal immigrant crossings nationwide and over 8.7 million at the Southern Border.

Under the Biden-Harris administration, 390+ individuals on the terrorist watchlist were stopped while trying to cross the border. From FY17 to FY20, there were only 11 such encounters.
