Dear [salutation],
First and foremost, today marks one year since President Trump survived an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania. I join Americans nationwide today and thank God that President Trump is alive and well. I recently cosponsored a resolution that condemns the multiple attempts against the President's life, condemns those who incite violence against political officials, and honors the victims of the shooting. More to come on this resolution soon.
I also recently cosponsored legislation to protect Americans' energy choices. I'm a firm believer that energy freedom is key to strengthening our domestic energy supply and ensuring Americans have access to reliable sources that best meet their needs. That's why I recently cosponsored the Energy Choice Act. You can learn more about this bill below.
In case you missed it: This week, I wrote an op-ed in the Washington Reporter regarding securing a stable, legal workforce for American agriculture. Whether we realize it or not, every American depends on agriculture every single day. From the milk in our morning coffee to the produce on our dinner plates, our farmers and ranchers help meet the needs of millions of Americans. You can read the full op-ed below.
