Dear [salutation],
It was a busy and productive week in Idaho's Second District! I met with groups and constituents across the state, ranging from those who craft some of the world's best dairy products, those who ensure our drinking water is safe, and many more.
When a person thinks of Idaho agriculture, the first thing that may come to mind is potatoes. Or maybe it’s sugar beets, barley, or one of the other 180-plus commodities. What many people don’t realize is that dairy is Idaho's top agricultural product. It was great meeting with the Idaho Dairymen in Burley and then with Idaho Milk Products in Jerome earlier this week.
Over in Boise, I attended the Idaho Rural Water Association's groundbreaking for its training facility, which I proudly helped secure federal funding for a few years ago. Many thanks to all the groups I met with this week. I always enjoy my time with Idahoans while in the district.
