Happy Mother's Day to all the incredible moms out there! Thank you for all you do. 💐

I had a productive week in Idaho's Second District. From Idaho Falls to Boise, I really enjoyed having several conversations, touring facilities, and meetings with constituents across the state.

Speaking of Idaho, in my district alone, there are 24,142 small businesses with employees. As National Small Business Week comes to an end, I'd like to commend the achievements of small business owners and employees throughout our great state.

Last but not least, I have long supported efforts to prevent milk alternatives or plant-based products from being marketed or misbranded using terms commonly associated with dairy products. Check out the DAIRY PRIDE Act below!

National Small Business Week

Idaho's small businesses make up over half of our state's economy. I was proud to cosponsor a resolution that designates May 3rd-9th, 2026, as National Small Business Week.

Throughout my time in Congress, I have been proud to support policies that support Main Street, like the Working Families Tax Cuts, which invests in small businesses and delivers tax certainty. God bless the hard-working employees and the great local businesses across Idaho’s Second District!

Touring Vermeer Mountain West

I enjoyed touring Vermeer Mountain West in Idaho Falls earlier this week. Vermeer Mountain West provides industry-leading equipment, rentals, and service across the West.

I appreciated having the opportunity to tour their new Idaho Falls location and see some of the equipment firsthand! Thank you for having me.

Cosponsoring the DAIRY PRIDE Act

Milk comes from a cow—not an almond or coconut or anything plant-based. As we strive to Make America Healthy Again, consumers must be provided with honest nutritional labeling.

I represent one of the most dairy-productive districts in the nation, and I remain committed to being a voice for dairy in Congress. I’m proud to cosponsor the DAIRY PRIDE Act. Read more about this bill here.
