With extreme conditions and no relief in sight, it is important that we work together to prevent wildfires. An important step we can all take to prevent unintentional fire starts is to KNOW BEFORE YOU GO by researching the fire restrictions and fire danger of any area you plan to travel to. Use the new Idaho Department of Lands interactive map to find up-to-date information on Fire Restrictions in the State.

Idaho Projects Move Through Appropriations Process

Severe drought in Idaho has led to an early start to the wildfire season. With extreme conditions and no relief in sight, it is important that we work together to prevent wildfires.
