- 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.
- Approximately 30% of all new cancer diagnoses for women will be breast cancer.
- There are over 3.8 million breast cancer survivors in the U.S.
To many, Breast Cancer Awareness Month means HOPE. Please do your part to prevent, or detect early, breast cancer in your life.

Simpson Tells Treasury to Abandon IRS Monitoring Proposal
This week, I joined 201 of my House colleagues in expressing serious concern to Treasury Secretary Yellen over the proposal to mandate and expand financial data collection on the American public.
The Biden Administration's latest proposal to require this level of monitoring and reporting by financial institutions is absolutely absurd. This is clearly a violation of individual privacy, not to mention a hugely inappropriate government overreach.
Many Idahoans have reached out to my office to express strong opposition to this proposal. This will undoubtedly bloat the size of the IRS and increase federal bureaucracy. The Biden Administration needs to recognize that this is not what the American people need or want and remove this policy from consideration immediately.
