National Defense Authorization Act 2022

This week, Congress voted on the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) - one of the most significant bills we consider each year.
The NDAA is an important part of our commitment to support our troops and advance America's security interests. The NDAA for Fiscal Year 2022 aims to support military efforts by:
- Countering Chinese malign influences
- Conducting counterterrorism operations in Afghanistan
- Authorizing a pay increase for our service member
- Reversing reckless cuts by the Biden Administration
Iron Dome Legislation
The Continuing Resolution pass this week did not include support for the Iron Dome - an important defense program for our Israeli allies. The Iron Dome has saved countless lives and I proudly supported legislation that demonstrates our commitment to Israel.

Abortion on Demand Legislation
On Friday, House Democrats passed pro-abortion legislation. H.R. 3755 - the Women's Health Protection Act.
I proudly voted against this bill, which aims to override state and federal pro-life protections and go beyond the scope of Roe v. Wade. For as long as I am in Congress, I will work to honor the sanctity and dignity of every life.
