Dear [salutation],

The heartbreaking barbaric attacks we have seen this week in Israel is horrific. Our greatest ally in the Middle East is at war. I strongly condemn the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel and support its right to defend itself and its people in this war. America must stand with Israel. This week, I cosponsored a resolution that supports Israel and its right to defend itself and condemns Hamas' brutal war against Israel.

I also signed a bicameral letter to bring cleaner, more affordable energy to the Northwest. This letter urges the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to act on a natural gas expansion project, GTN XPress, which has been stalled for almost 11 months. You can check out more below.

FYI - My office is participating in the Veterans History Project. This project at the Library of Congress collects, preserves, and makes accessible firsthand recollections of U.S. military veterans who served in World War I through more recent conflicts so that future generations may hear directly from veterans and better understand what they saw, did, and felt during their time in the service. Standing Up for Israel

I proudly cosponsored a resolution this week that firmly stands with our ally, Israel. Hamas is beheading babies, kidnapping children, raping women, and savagely murdering civilians. The brutality we have witnessed over the last week is nothing short of evil.

Israel is our nation's strongest ally in the Middle East. The United States must stand with the Israeli people during this time and condemn these horrific, barbaric attacks. I am proud to stand with Israel and cosponsor this resolution.
