This week, I had a meeting with Idaho sheriffs to discuss how the border crisis is affecting our state. The flood of fentanyl pouring across our southern border and the rising rates of human trafficking are unacceptable. Unfortunately, these issues are a direct result of President Biden's open-border policies. You can check out more about this meeting below.

Throughout my time in Congress, I have been proud to support the wonderful work done by the Special Olympics. I had a great opportunity to sit down with an all-star Idaho athlete, coaches, and members of Idaho Special Olympics!

President Biden has waged an unprecedented war against American energy. His latest attack is putting a "temporary pause" on Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) exports. This week, I signed on to a letter with more than 150 of my colleagues urging President Biden to immediately reverse this pause.

Addressing the Border Crisis

This week, I had the opportunity to sit down with Idaho sheriffs to discuss how the border crisis is affecting our state. I'm proud to be a voice for Idaho's brave sheriffs in Congress, and I will always stand with our law enforcement as they face the consequences of a lawless border.

Make no mistake: The Senate's proposed border legislation will NOT secure the southern border and end the border crisis President Biden has created. If Senate Democrats wanted to secure the border, they would pass the Secure the Border Act, a bill the House sent over more than 270 days ago.

The Secure the Border Act is the strongest border security bill in history.

Meeting with Idaho Special Olympics

It was an absolute privilege to welcome Layton Zimmerman and members of Idaho Special Olympics to DC! I even got to show them the torch I received from the 2009 Special Olympics World Winter Games in Boise!

Biden's Latest Attack on the Energy Industry

The Biden administration's recent decision to pause LNG exports is putting our economy at risk and further jeopardizing American energy production. My fellow Republican colleagues and I wrote a letter to the President this week urging him to reverse course.

As a longtime member of the House Energy and Water Appropriations Subcommittee, I have proudly advocated for United States energy production and independence. Energy security is national security.
