Recently in Washington

Last week, the House adopted a Motion to Go to Conference on H.R. 6147, the Interior, Environment, Financial Services, and General Government Appropriations Act, 2019, by voice vote. 
 
The House also passed H.R. 4606, the Ensuring Small Scale LNG Certainty and Access Act, by a vote of 260 to 146. The bill expedites the approval process for applications to import and export small quantities of natural gas.

On Friday, the House passed H.R. 6691, the Community Safety and Security Act of 2018, by a vote of 247 to 152. The bill specifies the circumstances under which a criminal offense should be deemed a “crime of violence."
