Thanks to President Biden, the southern border is the worst we've seen in decades. Particularly as Title 42 comes to an end, it’s crucial that we act to secure the border – the first crucial step to solving the larger problem within our immigration system.

In addition, I have long advocated for reforms to address the agricultural labor crisis. After working with a group of colleagues and successfully negotiating the Secure the Border Act, I am confident that House leadership will provide a pathway forward to solve this problem and provide a legal workforce necessary for the farmers and ranchers that feed and clothe our nation.
