As a part of the 2022 Appropriations process, I was able to secure over $23.6 million for several Idaho projects. As your representative, I feel a great responsibility to balance the priorities of reducing the Democrats' wasteful spending and ensuring impactful funds come to Idaho. I was proud to visit this week with many of the projects that will be receiving these funds.
Shoshone-Bannock Tribe Fire Station
For years, the Fort Hall Fire Station has been tasked with serving their community with antiquated equipment and failing infrastructure. We were able to direct $7 million for important updates to their facilities.
Habitat for Humanity Idaho Falls Communities of Hope
$3 million has been secured for the Habitat for Humanity Community of Hope in Idaho Falls, which will help low to moderate income families become successful homeowners.
Idaho Grain and Ag Center
I worked with the Idaho Grain Producers Association and I worked to secure funding for a new Idaho Grain and Ag Center. This new Center will link rural and urban communities, serve as a bridge to the future of Idaho Agriculture, and solidify the importance of agriculture to our state.
Boise Airport Expansion
$700,000 will help the Boise Airport rehabilitate the main taxi route of the terminal for air carrier operations.
Medical Training Facility at Gowen Field
The 124th Fighter Wing, Idaho Air National Guard, was awarded their request for the construction of a 10,550 square foot Medical Training Facility to provide an administrative area, classrooms, laboratories, exam rooms, record storage, and mobility training storage for the 124th Medical Group.
