From June 30 to July 6, we recognize the National Wildland Firefighter Week of Remembrance.

These brave men and women answer the call to protect our communities and our precious natural resources. Many have given their life in answering this call and they deserve our sincere gratitude.

Despite an abundant snowpack and a cool Spring, Idahoans must remain vigilant about the risk of wildfire this summer.

Recreate responsibly by practicing safe fire habits and following rules that prohibit the use fireworks and other incendiaries on public lands.

Finding Help With Passports

My district office's have heard from many of you with urgent travel and passport issues. My staff is always happy to help, but passport demand is at a record high.

Before making any definite or non-refundable travel plans, check your passport expiration date and consider the U.S. Department of State processing times (10-13 weeks for routine & 7-9 weeks for expedited, not including shipping times). Visit Travel.state.gov/passport to learn more.
