2021: A Year in Review

Over the course of the last year, my staff and I have worked hard to serve Idahoans and to pursue priorities of the 2nd Congressional District. 

We appreciate any opportunity to help others navigate the federal bureaucracy. Regardless of the issue - whether you need a  U.S. passport, a status update for immigration applications through USCIS, or help resolving issues with the IRS - each of my district offices are equipped to assist you.

H.R.5119 - CARES Act Tribal Funds Extension: extends the coverage of Coronavirus Relief Fund payments allocated under the 2020 CARES Act to tribal governments from December 30, 2021 to December 30, 2022. Passed House in December 2021. Follow here. 

H.R.5608  -  Chronic Wasting Disease Research & Management Act: directs the Department of Agriculture (USDA) to address chronic wasting disease afflicting deer, elk, and moose populations. Specifically, the bill directs USDA to establish a program to research and manage the disease. Passed House in December  2021. Follow here.

Reflecting on January 6th, 2021 - "Like most Americans, I was deeply troubled by the events of January 6^th.  I was especially dismayed by the images of brave law enforcement officers, themselves public servants, put in danger while simply trying to do their jobs."
