In the fiscal year 2018 Interior and Environment Appropriations bill I was pleased fight for a number of provisions that rein in the EPA’s burdensome regulations while striking a balance on responsible funding for communities that need resources to build functional and safe water systems.

• Language that authorizes the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency and Secretary of the Army to withdraw the Waters of the United States rule;
• Language making litigation costs more transparent;
•  Funding for the Rural Water Technical Assistance program to help small communities provide safe and affordable drinking water.
