WASHINGTON— Today, Idaho Congressman Mike Simpson and Idaho Senators Mike Crapo and Jim Risch announced upcoming senior center outreach opportunities throughout September and October 2023. For senior center outreach, district staff from Simpson’s, Crapo’s, and Risch’s offices will travel throughout Idaho and meet with constituents at senior centers to answer questions and address specific needs.  

“Senior center outreach is a wonderful opportunity to expand accessibility to seniors across the state,” said Rep. Simpson. “Not all of my constituents can leave their homes and connect with staff from my district offices, which is why Senators Crapo and Risch and I are bringing these services directly to them.”  

“Ensuring Idaho’s senior citizens have access to federal resources is a priority,” said Sen. Crapo.  “I am committed to bringing the information to them and sharing details about federal programs with which my office may be able to assist.” 

“Bureaucratic chaos and red tape prevents Idahoans from accessing the critical resources they need. My staff is here to help answer questions and navigate challenges involving the federal government. The Idaho delegation’s SeniorCenter Outreach Days presents a great opportunity to visit with my staff in person about issues you face,” said Sen. Risch.
