Rep. Simpson Stands up for the Unborn and Mothers

WASHINGTON— This week, Idaho Congressman Mike Simpson voted in favor of two critical pieces of pro-life legislation. H.R.6914 - the Pregnant Students' Rights Act ensures all pregnant college students know their rights and protections to carry a pregnancy to term. H.R.6918 - the Supporting Pregnant and Parenting Women and Families Act guarantees pregnancy resource centers have access to the resources they need to help mothers and families.

“Throughout my time in Congress, my stance has always been to protect the right to life,” said Rep. Simpson. “I have proudly supported pro-life policies and advocated for solutions that empower mothers and support them with resources and information. The right to life – the most fundamental human right – deserves to be protected and upheld, and I will always fight for the most vulnerable among us.”

Rep. Simpson received an A+ on the Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America’s 2024 scorecard. Additionally, this week, Rep. Simpson cosponsored H.R.431 – the Life at Conception Act, a bill declaring that the right to life guaranteed by the Constitution is vested in each human being at all stages of life.
