Simpson Statement on House Republicans’ Commitment to America

Washington, D.C. – Idaho Congressman Mike Simpson today made the following statement on House Republicans’ Commitment to America, the plan unveiled today by GOP House Leadership for action now and in the coming Congress:

“The American people are burdened every day by the consequences of poor policy in Washington. Now, more than ever, Republicans are committed to solving these problems and helping Americans thrive,” said Simpson. “These actions in Congress must include securing the border and stopping the flow of deadly fentanyl; unleashing energy independence to lower prices at the pump, in our homes, and at the grocery store; and reining in exorbitant government spending that is fueling the inflation crisis. I remain committed to achieving these ideals for my constituents and I look forward to working with my colleagues to bring them to fruition.”
