Rep. Simpson Votes to Support President Trump’s Peace through Strength Policies in NDAA

WASHINGTON—Today, Idaho Congressman Mike Simpson voted in favor of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26 NDAA). This legislation authorizes full funding for America’s national defense, improves servicemember quality of life, enhances military readiness, and supports the Trump Administration’s policy initiatives. “Passing the National Defense Authorization Act means that we are one step closer to beginning to deliver results for American troops and their families,” said Rep. Simpson. “The NDAA is a must-pass bill that promotes peace through strength policies, supports our men and women in uniform, and strengthens our national defense. Idaho is home to Gowen Field and Mountain Home Air Force Base, hosting thousands of servicemembers. Supporting our troops and investing in our national defense remain among my top priorities in Congress.
