Rep. Simpson Votes to Fully Fund Veterans Health Care and Benefits

WASHINGTON— Today, the House Committee on Appropriations voted to advance the Fiscal Year 2026 Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Appropriations Bill. Idaho Congressman Mike Simpson supported this advancement. This bill champions America’s veterans by fully funding veterans’ health care programs and benefits. This legislation also supports military families, strengthens America’s defense, and supports the Trump administration’s policy initiatives. “Upholding America's promise and obligations to our veterans means ensuring they receive the care and support they so greatly deserve,” said Rep. Simpson. “While we can never fully repay those who have honorably served, this legislation honors our commitment to our nation's heroes and ensures they receive the benefits they've earned.
